Remaining is unglamorous. It's showing up to the same quiet ten minutes on the mornings you feel nothing at all. But roots don't grow in bursts, and neither does this. The fruit people will notice about you in a year is being decided by what you do with the boring mornings now.
Jesus, on the days I feel nothing, help me remain anyway.
